ShowReel

This reel is the result of all the selected work made in four months. It aims to provide the viewer with an intense feeling for 50 seconds showcasing work done by me in a short amount of time and with very little physical resources. Trying to experiment and at the same time producing with a well thought concept trying to achieve a different aesthetic style.
The reel contains commercial and non commercial work, mostly experimental pieces done with a learning purpose with an own made concept. Including stop motion, 2d, integrated and non integrated 3d with live footage and liquid simulations. Since i want to work with motion design, i set challenges to myself by developing the idea and only then think about production issues.

Cautel gps systems web concept

Our client had developed a user generated safety gps system, and they wanted us to create an expandable strong but yet friendly brand that would convey the feeling of safety and reliability, so we did. Together working with Karl Peterson we created several logo proposals.
A full graphical profile and a conceptual proposal for an interactive campaign website were made. The campaign site was suited for the target group, displayed all sorts of possibilities using cautels sub-brands on very conceptual view, for a better understanding, guided with a full experience website.

Environmental awareness motion piece

The aim with this project was to develop 3d/dinamics skills and getting used to the process of working together in a team. So i teamed up with Karl Peterson and presented a story board to him, working together night after night and agreeing upon the idea/storyboard we started production.
The piece describes a very small story from left to right with the purpose of using it as a reminder on how things could get dry if we don’t bet on environmental technologies. My role was animating and modeling all the environment to get to the desired feeling.

Basketball on water

My latest project, fully executed from start to finish by me. All was needed was an improvised basketball field, small camera, actor and loads of fun and imagination (some frustration as well).
After filming the basketball actor, i cleaned the footage background, and started integrating the character experimenting with perspective. After all animation as done, i then created unrealistic fluid simulation to produce big splashing water crowns.

Concept art, jungle orange

Above concept art for a possible execution of a motion piece for Tropicana orange juice, quite interesting how far you can go with a simple orange juice.
Even if done on a still i thought about movement, a fresh pure jungle where not even the nature and animals can resist the taste of those fresh oranges inside Tropicana.

Concept art, no need for red carpets

This is one of those cases, where you have to stop on a still concept due to the lack of physical resources and all that would come with it. I just had this idea of greatness engineering speeding up thru the avanue, with the whole city quiet and all the cars being thrown out of the way.
A really strong feeling of respect, going back to the greatness and quality in this brands values. “No need for red carpets”, the words explain it all.

Concept art, routine Train

This is probably the most emotional concept i’ve ever done, i don’t know what inspired me last year to do this but i think it was all that traveling on public transports. I just looked at people while riding the subway and felt like everyone was uncompleted most of the time.
The piece represents a daily life, full of green and blue following always the same path. A story of all the lost dreams and memories that remain in different places at the end of the day.

Concept art, balance

Mixing together calm and stress, interesting to create a contrast of two situations that at the same time can blend together perfectly.

My aim was to create a static image with a moving feeling to it at the same time, describing a daily situation where people need to take control in order to not stress.
